Our July 1st downtown history walk returns in 2025! This year’s walk focuses on buildings and stories from the newly created Smithers Community Heritage Register.
Walk itinerary:
- Meet at the Train Station (3815 Railway Avenue)
- There will be a stop at the Old Church about half way through the walk. There are washrooms available in the Old Church, where we will stop for 5-10 minutes.
- The walk will run for approximately 1.5 hours ending at the Central Park Building (1425 Main Street)
This is a FREE event! Donations in support of this and other museum activities and events are appreciated.
Please bring bottled water, wear comfortable walking shoes, and dress for the weather. Leashed dogs are welcome.
Please note that in the event of extreme weather the event may be cancelled. If this occurs, a message will be posted on the Museum’s Facebook page on the day of the walk.
