Passageways: A Pocket Edition of Odysseys and Migration

From January-June 2026 the Bulkley Valley Museum will host the traveling exhibit Passageways: A Pocket Edition of Odysseys and Migration. Developed and loaned by the Chinese Canadian Museum, Passageways is a small-sized traveling edition of CCM’s larger exhibition Odysseys and Migration, which explores Chinese migration, belonging and identity in Canada.

The Bulkley Valley Museum’s presentation of the exhibit will include an additional display showcasing the history of local Chinese Canadian settlers in Smithers in its early decades.
